All of the staff were extremely helpful but the member of staff who went above and beyond to help me was called Lauren (she said she’s known as Little Lauren). Went into the store today to look for a standing easel as I have recently had a spine injury which has prevented me from being able to work as I can’t sit and draw. Both of the staff members who helped me were called Lauren, but Little Lauren (as she told us she is known as) spent over an hour helping us choose the easel and showed me exactly how to use it and how it folds up. Not only that, but she also carried the easel out the shop and half way down the street for me as I had to get a relative to come and pick it up in a van. Was quite tricky as the shop isn’t accessible for vans so Lauren really went out of her way to help us. Can’t thank her enough. Made me realise that there are still kind and helpful people about 😊

I have been going to Cass for years now since Rennie's shut down, and I have never had anything other than a wonderfully pleasant experience in here. All of the staff are extremely friendly and knowledgable, always ready to give you advice or let you test out products even close to closing. You can get some great advice from fellow artists before making a plunge on the ever expensive art supplies. But that being said, Cass Art is competitively priced and regularly runs huge discounts on top-end brands like Polychromos. Amazing selection, always clean, tidy and well stocked and the service is S++.

I popped in yesterday. I was filling time waiting for my friend, I love art shops and this one is one of the best I’ve visited . I was feeling quite out of sorts and stressed so I asked the staff if I could buy some decopatch supplies and just do some letters. They were happy to let me and every now and again came over to see I was ok. They had no idea how anxious and stressed I was feeling on arrival but the kindness shown made a huge difference to me and helped me massively. It’s amazing how a safe space and a little creativity can help. Lovely people ❤️ Thank you x

My go to place for value for money products and advice,the latter of which is very freely given in a very friendly manner.They also have a very comprehensive stock of art supplies.

The staff are great here, always ready to advise and recommend. There is an array of products for various crafts from print making, sketching, painting, sculpting and so on. They also run workshops in the rear of the store. They're not the best prices, but they offer discounts for students and art educators. Also, this is the only art shop in the city centre.

My wife and I are absolute beginners at drawing, we went into this shop for advice and Jen could not have been more helpful, she had endless patience and told us what she would recommend, the other members of staff were friendly and helpful we will definitely go here in the future and would recommend to anyone. What a great find even though they've been there for 10years hahha 😆 my wife and I went here to have a look for some new essentials. so much to look at choose from, variety is the spice of life. I can honestly say we where very well attended to nothing was too much trouble. Along with our purchases we received some lovely free gifts. Which for someone who has taken up art late in life was a real treat on my 60th Birthday too thankyou all at Cass Art you made my Birthday

Cass art is great.lovely shop, lovely environment, lovely staff. I say in jest now it is the DFS of the art world; sale prices are excellent, non-sale prices check. However they do seem very good and fair at price matching. They price matched hobbycraft for me last time.
